How does email integration work?

SlickText integrates with a handful of popular email marketing providers such as MailChimp and Constant Contact to automatically sync the emails that are captured through your SMS marketing textwords to specific lists. Emails are synced in real time and happen automatically without any intervention on your part. To get started with an email integration, follow these steps.

  1. Log into your SlickText account.
  2. Click your user icon in the upper right hand of your browser, then click My Account.
  3. Click Integrations on the left hand side of the page.
  4. "Click Find an Integration.
  5. Select the provider that you'd like to integrate with by clicking the Integrate button.
  6. Follow the login steps for that provider.
  7. Your integration will be complete.

At this point you've set up the integration with your email marketing provider. From here there's just 1 more thing that needs to be done and that is to select an email list to subscribe your emails to when we capture them. Here's how to do that...

  1. Click "Textwords" in the navigation bar.
  2. Hover over "More Options" and click "Settings" for the textword you want to capture emails with.
  3. Select "Email Capture" on the left hand side of the screen.
  4. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and you'll see where you can select from all your emails lists the one that you want your captured emails to sync to.
  5. Click the "Save" button.

That's it! You've successfully set up an email integration. From that point on, any emails that are captured through that textword will be automatically synced with your selected email marketing list in real time.
