What File Types Are Supported for MMS Messages (Picture Messages)?
The preferred file types supported by Slicktext for MMS / picture messaging are JPG, PNG, and GIF. While the platform can support many other MMS file types, we limit file types to these three to optimize the content for carrier delivery. Because we do not resize animated GIFS, they will need to be under 490kb.
