Does the Hyphen in the Shortcode Number Matter?
The hyphen will not affect the validity of the shortcode number. When texting a short code, or any other telephone number, your phone will automatically hyphenate the number after 3 digits. This is normal and will not affect your ability to opt in to a subscriber list.
