Can I download my chat thread?

Our inboxing feature allows subscribers to respond to the messages you send. With this tool, you can export your chat transcript for later reference. It's a handy little tool we thought of just for you.

To download a transcript, click on "Inbox" and select a chat thread that you wish to download. Once inside the chat thread you will see a button in the lower left hand corner that says, "Download Chat Transcript."

Why might you want to download your chat thread? More than likely, you'll want a record of the customer service interaction. For example, let's say a subscriber replied to file a complaint about your product. You can then download this thread, and have the complaint on file for future reference. 

You could also use inbox replies to collect market research data on subscribers. Once you've gotten multiple replies, you can then download this data and examine it with your marketing team.
